KEARNEY - State Speech was held on Wednesday through Friday last week. Class A and B were on Wedneday with Class C on Thursday and Class D on Friday.

Monday, March 11th at about 10 AM, Terrance Heyes, a 2021 graduate of Cross County School paid an uninvited visit to his alma mater. He caused quite a commotion, tearing up the parking lot.

Jason Brown, currently the superintendent of Bertrand Community School, will be the new High Plains Community Schools superintendent starting the 202425 school year.
